The greater Los Angeles area has the largest concentration of advanced manufacturing firms in the state, followed by the San Francisco Bay Area. Because the range of industries included in Advanced Manufacturing is so broad, it is preferable to search by specific industry (e.g., contract manufacturers or computers in order to get a useful map of company distribution.
